When I say that, what I mean is “Keep trying. Don’t give up on the fight”
Staying strong doesn’t mean not asking for help, keeping yourself from crying, acting as though you’re fine, etc. It isn’t weak to admit you aren’t ok, to fall apart, to need a day in bed, having to stay home from class to figure your mind out, etc.
You are strong for taking care of yourself, feeling your emotions, letting yourself fall apart, etc
A lot of people want to know how to help their friends during panic attacks, and as someone who has them quite often, I though I’d share a few tips. Keep in mind everyone is different and panic attacks are unpredictable and hard to control, so these won’t stop panic attacks from happening, but they can probably help comfort your friend a lot
